ORANGE, Ohio (WOIO) - Orange Village officials are asking residents to remain indoors as emergency crews respond to a gas leak Thursday morning.

Orange Village Police and Fire are responding to the leak on Miles Road between Brainard Road and Harper Road.

This is the same location as the gas leak on Wednesday.

According to an Orange Village Facebook post, power has been shut off to the immediate and surrounding areas as a safety precaution.

All residents and drivers are asked to avoid Miles Road between Brainard Road and Harper Road.

Anyone who lives in the immediate area should remain indoors with windows closed, the post said.

If you smell gas inside your home, leave immediately and call 911.

The roadways are shut down, according to the Chagrin Valley Dispatch.
