MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (Gray News) — Rapper Rick Ross was arrested Thursday in Florida on domestic violence-related charges, online jail records show.
The rapper, whose real name is William Leonard Roberts, was charged with battery by strangulation.
He was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. His bond was set at $5,000.
According to WPLG, the arrest comes days after his ex-girlfriend Jazzma Kendrick took to Instagram to accuse him of physically abusing her.
However, it’s unclear if Ross’ arrest is connected to Kendrick.
