$5K bond set for Cleveland woman accused of arson

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A 23-year-old woman accused of setting a home on fire pleaded not guilty at her arraignment in Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas Tuesday.

Shamara McCoy is charged with two counts of aggravated arson.

The judge set her bond at $5,000.

Cleveland police said McCoy set fire to a home on Lamontier Avenue on Dec. 26, 2024.

McCoy is scheduled to return on Jan. 22.
