1 dead, 1 seriously hurt after Medina County crash

MEDINA COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - Medina County authorities say a man is dead and a woman is seriously hurt after a Thursday crash.
According to Chatham Township firefighters, the deadly crash happened around 2 p.m. in the 7900 block of Chatham Road.
The victims are a 77-year-old man, who passed away at Cleveland Clinic Lodi Hospital, and a 75-year-old woman.
Firefighters say the woman was extricated and flown to a Cleveland hospital for treatment of serious, life-threatening injuries.
The victims’ names were not released.
The fire department did not report the circumstances or cause of the crash.
They said it remains under investigation by the Medina County Sheriff’s Office.
