Horse rescued from ditch in Medina Co.

LITCHFIELD, Ohio (WOIO) - Litchfield Fire and Rescue assisted the Granger Township firefighters with a horse stuck in a ditch Friday afternoon in Medina County, according to posts on Facebook.

Jasmine, the stuck horse, was freed after first responders cleared brush and used rope and webbing to get under her and clear the dirt so she could move, according to a post.

The Medina County All Hazards Rope Team, Three Pines Veterinary Clinic along with first responders were able to get Jasmine on her belly and walk right out.

According to a post on Facebook, Jasmine was just a little dirty.
