10-year-old kidnapped during Medina County domestic incident

HINCKLEY, Ohio (WOIO) - A 10-year-old was abducted Friday afternoon during a domestic incident in Hinckley.

According to Hinckley Police, police responded to a home around 6:45 p.m. after a domestic incident ended with a father, who had supervised visitation rights, kidnapped his daughter.

Hinckley Police say they were in the process of issuing an Amber Alert when Brunswick’s FLOCK system located the father’s vehicle at Princess Ledges Park.

Officers searched the area and found the father and daughter, according to Hinckley Police.

The 10-year-old girl was unharmed when police found her.

The father was taken into custody. No word yet on what charges he faces.

Hinckley Police thanked other police agencies for their assistance in the case.
