New economy parking lot opens at Akron-Canton Airport

GREEN, Ohio (WOIO) - A new economy parking lot is open at Akron-Canton Airport (CAK).

The lot is located at the corner of Lauby and Mt. Pleasant Roads and costs $11 a day.

A complimentary shuttle service will bring travelers from their cars to the terminal.

Airport officials said the new lot has 775 parking spaces.

“As we continue to welcome more travelers to CAK, we are pleased to offer another affordable and convenient parking option,” said Ren Camacho, President and CEO of Akron-Canton Airport. “We are always looking for ways to enhance the guest experience while meeting growing demand. This new lot will be especially appealing to those who value our low fares and exceptional service.”

CAK has also implemented a two-hour (120-minute) complimentary grace period in all ticketed parking lots.

Vehicles parked for 120 minutes or less may exit at no charge, benefiting those dropping off or picking up travelers.
